Cost for Acupuncture Billed to Insurance
Prices vary depending on complexity of treatment
I am a preferred provider (= "in-network") for Aetna, First Choice, Kaiser Access PPO and Options (formerly Group Health Options), Lifewise Health Plan of Washington, Premera Blue Cross, Regence Blue Shield and United Healthcare; if you have primary insurance coverage with one of these plans then we will bill your insurance for you. I am not accepting Auto and Personal Injury (PIP) claims at this time.
Insurance can be confusing, if you have any questions, please contact me at (206) 200-3467 or email@example.com and I'll do my best to help you figure it out!
Many insurance plans consider acupuncture to be medically necessary for various health concerns (usually those that are related to pain conditions), and will cover a percentage of the treatment price. You can check on your coverage by calling the customer service number on the back of your insurance card.
Payment can be made by cash, check or credit card (including HSA and FSA cards). I can also give you a receipt to submit for HSA or FSA reimbursement.
